2021 Cabernet Franc-Boushey
[Boushey Vineyards, Yakima Valley, WA | 600 Cases]
TASTING NOTES: This is a great example of Cab Franc. Lighter in color, likely why it is one of the fathers of Merlot, this wine has big bright red fruits like raspberry and currants on the nose. The body brings out the vanilla and anise which are going to be wrapped around those giant tannins that will take 4-5 years to tame. Definitely use a decanter if you have the time.
