TASTING NOTES:  This wine presents a deep, dark ruby color with lighter purple edges. On the nose, it reveals a complex bouquet of black cherry, and plum, complemented by savory notes of sage, eucalyptus, cocoa, and earthiness, all underscored by a hint of peppercorn. The palate is robust, with high, grippy tannins and low acidity. Flavors of black currant emerge on the front, leading to a mid-palate that features the spice of peppercorns. The finish is long and memorable, with lingering notes of tobacco.
