TASTING NOTES: Medium ruby, and unmistakably Cab Franc — rose and violet potpourri over red and black cherry, raspberry, and that classic green pepper lift. Sage, cedar, and fresh potting soil give it an earthy, old-world frame, with vanilla and allspice from the barrel rounding the edges. Medium-plus acidity and soft, medium tannins make it one of the most food-friendly reds we pour.
